Performances

Half a Glass of Water and Every Woman Has a Bra Story, a performance as part of Connie Regan-Blake’s Slice of Life, April, 2012 at The Altamont Theatre in Asheville

My first one-woman show, Hold Still! I Can’t See Myself, written, directed and produced by Dorothy Kirk, August, 2012 at the Altamont Theatre in Asheville

H Is So Close to K, a story from my work-in-progress about my lifelong relationship with my mortality, performed as part of Connie Regan-Blake’s Slice of Life, April, 2013 at The Altamont Theatre in Asheville. (Perhaps this show will be a lifelong work-in-progress.)

Shine, Baby, Shine, Part 1 is a tribute to one of the village who raised me, my Uncle Bill, who married my mother’s sister. He was my ‘Dad.’ This was the first part of my show, Shine, Baby, Shine, performed at the Altamont Theatre on July 9th, 2015 at The Altamont Theatre in Asheville.

Shine, Baby, Shine, Part 2 is the story of my brother, Sonny, who committed suicide in 1999 out of anguish over his addiction to Xanax after a lifetime of struggle with crippling anxiety.

My Reverse Metamorphosis, a performance as part of Connie Regan-Blake’s Slice of Life, June, 2015 at Metro Wines in Asheville. It’s the story of how I went from being a butterfly to a slug in one miserable year when I was in the sixth grade.
